I decided on a whim yesterday to finish this task!
Boyfriend and I walked past a shopping centre and had a bit of time to pass until we met up with a friend of ours. I walked over to the record store and got myself two CDs.

101. Post in my “proper” blog every day for a month
Done!!!
I didn't give any notice here on my progress while doing this. Guess why? I was tired of making blog posts... :)
But I succeeded in finishing the task by posting every day for 30 days from October 10th to November 8th.

026. For a week buy environmental friendly products every time the option is there (no matter price difference)
So the week is over. And I did good.
I went to a grocery store five times this week buying as little as 6 eggs up to 27 items for food this weekend. If I saw an environmentally friendly alternative on the shelf I got that instead of the usual. I also opted out of buying juice twice as they didn't have an alternative but should've had if the fridge was full. I did the same with the same with bread.
I guess I should've kept the reciepts and looked at how much more expensive this week turned out to be, but I didn't think of that...

I started this on Monday while grocery shopping. I bought thirteen different items and 8 of them were marked as organic and environmentally friendly. The shop didn't have options for the other five items.
I also brought my own fabric bag for the groceries so I wouldn't have to buy a plastic or paper one.

096. Stay away from checking emails for a week
I did this again.
We spent some time in Italy enjoying a vacation and I didn't check my emails, or anything on the Internet, or even sit by a computer from September 26th to October 5th. That's 10 whole days!

Eat at fifteen restaurants/cafés that are new to me (10/15)
Time to add number 10 to this list.
I met up with a friend and colleague on Wednesday night to have dinner and sit and chat for a while. We went to an Italian restaurant downtown. She had been there before and suggested us going. I had fish and risotto and a pannacotta for dessert. Lovely!

044. Do my yoga routine at home at least 20 times (1/20)
My back and my hips are still not alright. I do my exercises almost every day but I'm still sore and achy some days.
I'm swamped at work for a couple of weeks now and when I came home yesterday I was in such a bad mood. Not angry or irritated, but weepy and pitiful...
After feeling sorry for myself on the couch for an hour or two, I grabbed my yoga mat and did a couple of rounds of sun salutation followed by ten asanas. I couldn't do them all "like I used to" and I was real careful with the back bending.
Felt great!

038. Eat at fifteen restaurants/cafés that are new to me (9/15)
Saturday, my boyfriend and I had planned to visit an Italian restaurant we had been recommended. We got there at 4.30pm and realized it didn't open until 6pm...
Luckily for us, there was another Italian restaurant just next to it. (My guess is that they were actually owned by the same person but had different focuses...) I had the most amazing pizza with Gorgonzola cheese, broccoli, fresh mushroom and walnuts.
Tasty!!!

087. Clean the windows
I started this one yesterday when it was sunny and warm outside and I felt too restless to sit still and too aware of the fact that these lovely days might soon come to an end with Fall coming...
In our house, we have 8 normal sized windows, a porch door in glass and three windows that are 2m/6'8" high. None of the windows can be parted, so every window consists of two sides of glass that needs to be cleaned.
Yesterday I did all the outsides, except for three of the normal sized windows as they were already in the sun when I started and I didn't want to fight strikes... I also did both sides of the porch door and the large windows.
The plan is to do the rest (4 insides and both sides on 3 windows) next weekend.

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (10/10)
I did it!
At 8pm yesterday, I got my sneakers on and went out for awalk. I didn't bring my watch (it was in the bathroom and I only realized after I had tied my sneakers and as I had vacuumed earlier in the day I didn't want to tiptoe in to get it) but decided to be out for at least 8 songs from my mp3-player. Figured that would be at least 30 minutes.
Coming back home I found out I had been out walking for 45 minutes. Felt good! :)

034. Bring lunch to work every day for two weeks straight
I've gone another week eating lunches that I've brought from home. And all of these lunches I've prepared properly at home; four different salads for Monday to Thursday and today I had chicken wraps.

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (7/10)
Yesterday I strapped on my sneakers at 5pm and spent 40 minutes walking, power walking and jogging. Yes, I did jog some! I also went up and down some steep (but not very long) hills.
I took a different route than I ususally do when I go out for walks. I found this great park area that makes for great walking and jogging on the grass (as opposed to the hard pavements). I'll definitely take this route again!
