I did it!
At 8pm yesterday, I got my sneakers on and went out for awalk. I didn't bring my watch (it was in the bathroom and I only realized after I had tied my sneakers and as I had vacuumed earlier in the day I didn't want to tiptoe in to get it) but decided to be out for at least 8 songs from my mp3-player. Figured that would be at least 30 minutes.
Coming back home I found out I had been out walking for 45 minutes. Felt good! :)

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (9/10)
Now I'm close. Both to finishing this task and to the dead line for it...
I walked home from work yesterday and got to work this morning on foot. I have one more walk to do. Before Monday comes.

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (7/10)
Yesterday I strapped on my sneakers at 5pm and spent 40 minutes walking, power walking and jogging. Yes, I did jog some! I also went up and down some steep (but not very long) hills.
I took a different route than I ususally do when I go out for walks. I found this great park area that makes for great walking and jogging on the grass (as opposed to the hard pavements). I'll definitely take this route again!

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (6/10)
I walked home on Monday and left my bike at work. Tuesday I used the car as I had an appointemnnt to go to in the middle of the day. Yetsreday I walked to work in the morning and used the bike to get home.
In 10 days, I have gone for 6 walks already. I think I'll be able to finish this task soon!

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (4/10)
Boyfriend surprised me Staurday evening as he suggested us going for a walk. He was restless and needed to move around for a bit. It wasn't the fastest or most intense walk ever, but I wore sneakers and we were out for 45 minutes....

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (3/10)
I walked to work again today. I'll be picked up in a car going home though. Walking back and forth the same day left me with a sore body, so I'll try to walk one way instead of both.
The easiest way to achive one walking direction a day (as opposed to none or two) would be to bike in the morning, walk home, walk in the morning and bike home... And leave the bike at work over night. This will probably happen at least once next week.

040. Go for ten walks within three weeks (2/10)
You might think I'm cheating here, but I'm the one making the rules for my 101in1001-project. Right? :)
Yesterday I went for two walks; one from home to work, and one from work to home. I count this as being two separate walks as:
1. it takes me 30 minutes to walk to work and that much walking equals a walk
2. I got in my pair of sneakers and used my mp3-player as entertainment = walk
3. I could've gotten to and from work faster but chose to spend time exercising instead = walk
So, yesterday was the official start of going on ten walks within three weeks. Walks to and from work will count. Anytime I get my sneakers on and move around outdoors for at least half an hour will count as a walk. Going to the gym and spending at least 30 minutes on a treadmill will be considered a walk.
Wish me luck! (And hope for my back and hips to not act up badly again!)
