The class has started! I've handed in the first assignment and Friday is the deadline for the second one. I feel challenged in this class and I thoroughly enjoy it!
I declare this task finished even if the class hasn't ended yet as I specified the task to be "attend an evening class" and not "complete an evening class"...

078. Attend an evening class of some sort
I applied to three different writing classes for this semester and got accepted to them all. I chose to attend one of them and it's technically not an "evening class" in the way I meant when deciding on this task, but...
It's an online class that I will have to take care of in the evenings. It's also more advanced and will give me university credits as opposed to the evening classes I had in mind. So, I'm counting this one.
"Lectures" will start next week! I have my books already.
